WHERE DOES THE IDEA FOR A SAMPLE BOOK FROM?
This project was a necessity. After installing the new Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106-7 + LYYL, when we implemented a completely new technology, we gained much greater production capacity. The idea for the sample book was born out of the needs of our clients. After talking with them, we came to the conclusion that the easiest and the best way would be to give customers something tangible in their hands. Something that will realistically show what we can do, how we can do it and what are the possibilities. That’s why this sample book was made. Not to tell a story, just to show.
WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT IN THIS PROJECT?
The biggest challenge in the sample book project was how many changes have happened along the way. The original concept had evolved and developed along the way. That was the biggest challenge. We did not expect such a turn of events. An important aspect was to develop everything from the technological side to get a coherent whole. The challenge, but in a very positive sense, was the selection of technologies and finishings for individual packages in the project. The most difficult thing was to combine all the elements that we had in mind and achieved the result which we wanted. On the one hand, we wanted to show our clients technological possibilities in a synthetic way, but on the other hand, we also wanted to provide our clients with a tangible material and tool that they could use in their daily work and with their clients.
