At Preston, it has always been our main focus to introduce effective technology in the field of unit packages for pharmaceutical and cosmetics. We are aware that those industries require utmost reliability regarding storage and transport. We offer numerous types of finishing, such as gloss, matt, hot-stamping and UV varnish. Aside from the quality of the material itself, our priorities lie in streamlining the manufacturing process.

UNIT PACKAGES
STRAIGHT LINE GLUED

The most commonly encountered and produced type of packaging. Suitable both for manual and automatic packaging lines. This carton type is mostly used for blister packs, sachets, tubes or small bottles.

UNIT PACKAGES
WITH CRASH LOCK BOTTOM

Package type mainly designed for securing heavier products. Excellent for heavy bottles or aerosols, protecting them against falling out of the package. Clear advantages of this solution include simple and fast manual packaging. The bottom locks automatically during the forming process.

PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGING WITH BRAILLE EMBOSSING

The characteristic feature of such packaging is the embossed Braille pattern. This technique is mainly used in pharmaceutical packaging (although becoming increasingly popular in other product types). Braille information contains product name and dosage. Embossing can be implemented on each type of packaging manufactured by our Company.

BLISTER JACKETS AND SACHETS

Package type designed mainly for securing blister packs. This solution can also carry additional information about blister content as well as method and frequency of administration. These are usually small units. Sachets are mostly used for blisters with hormonal pills.

SMALL-SIZE SOLID BOARD DISPLAY BOXES FOR UNIT PACKAGES

Multipackage made of solid board. Due to material thickness and strength, it is mainly designed for a small number of lightweight unit packages. The structure enables application both for security reasons and easier transportation of the contents, as well as for carrying additional information.

HOLDERS FOR SYRINGES, VIALS, SACHETS, AMPOULES AND OTHER PRODUCTS REQUIRING SPECIFIC PROTECTION

These products usually complement another type of package. The content of a unit package frequently requires proper protection. This is precisely the role of elements made of solid board, placed inside or integrated with the package. Due to individual characteristics of each product, the production of such elements is always preceded by prototyping phase, which aims to develop an optimum solution suited to the packaging process.

OTHER TYPES OF UNIT PACKAGES WITH NON-STANDARD STRUCTURE OF GLUING METHOD

This category includes non-standard unit packages. In order to differentiate from competition, more and more manufacturers require packages including additional elements. They may include straight line glued packages with an internal slot for an applicator, carton with an extra flap on the front offering space for additional information, etc. These may also be packages that do not require gluing (lock-based systems). The possibilities are numerous.

Unit packaging made of environmentally-friendly products is not only a recent trend in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, but a general environmental need in the packaging industry. High-quality printed packaging manufactured on eco-friendly cardboard is an innovative, effective and affordable packaging solution. Ecological packaging for medicines and cosmetics can be coated with paint in such a way that it will not differ significantly in external appearance from other packaging, despite the fact that recycled materials have been used in the production. It can also be coated with paint minimally, only highlighting the brand logo. Our specialists will be happy to advise you on the best solutions.
