FSC™ Forest Week!
This year, from 24-30 September, Preston Packaging participated in the Forest Week – an action organized by the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC). The campaign highlights the value of forests and how selecting sustainable products can help preserve forests for future generations. We are proud to be FSC™ certified and to participate in the action again.
We divided our activities into those within the organization and directed to a wider group of audience. We really want as many people as possible to be aware of how important our daily activities are for the environment.
Due to establishing cooperation with the Technical School Complex in Tarnowo Podgórne, we decided to visit young people. We told students the Printing Process Technicians profile and Logistics Technician profile, how important forests are for our future and what the FSC™ certificate is. At the end of our meeting, we planted a tree to emphasize the value of forests for future generations.
We focus on education and building environmental awareness among employees, customers and the local community. We are glad that we once again participated in the event organized by FSC™.
