Fachpack 2019
With a view to build relations with our current customers and increase brand recognition among potential customers, we decided to take an active part in trade fairs and congresses. In the case of large trade fairs we have so far pursued this strategy only as a visitor. However, in September 2019 it was time to try our hand as an exhibitor. This took place at the Fachpack 2019 European trade fair for packaging, processing and technology. The event is held regularly once a year (once every 3 years under the name Interpack). Presence at such a prestigious trade fair, held on the German market, which is strategic for our company, gave us a chance to meet with our current customers and to attract new customers to Preston Packaging. We also used the 3 days of the fair as a time to gain knowledge of new technologies and trends in the packaging industry.
Congress of the Pharmaceutical Industry
The 11th Congress of the Pharmaceutical Industry was held in Łódź from 18 to 20 November 2019. This regular event gathers professionals from the pharmaceutical industry and industries of dietary supplements and cosmetics. Due to the fact that this is a place where our current and potential customers are also present, our company is an active participant of this event. We held many interesting meetings at our stand. The presentation on serialization and aggregation for the Russian market, which we presented together with Prespack and Introl, proved very attractive for a lot of visitors. Talks held in a less formal atmosphere, which help to build new interesting contacts, are another important element of the Congress.
Plans for 2020
The coronavirus pandemic has ruined plans for the most interesting exhibitions and fairs this year. Many of them have been cancelled or rescheduled. Today we know that numerous important industry events such as PCI DAYS 2020, Drupa 2020, CPHI and Interpack 2020 have been postponed until next year. The organizers of some fairs, such as Vitafoods, have decided to move the events to the virtual world and conduct meetings in the video broadcasts form. We hope that the situation will improve next year and we will be able to meet you during these and other events. See you soon!
